Since 2016, three sessions of China (Hunan) International Rail Transit Industry Expo (CIRTE) have been hosted, with over 40 thousand square meters of exhibition area being offered for each session and 200-plus home and abroad rail transit enterprises attending. It is an industrial event of China's rail transit sector with the largest scale, the highest standards, and the most extensive influence across the globe.

        The 2019 China (Hunan) International Rail Transit Industry Expo (the Expo) will be held in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center in the middle of October 2019. The objectives are to better play the leading role of convention and exhibition in the industry, leverage on the driving effects of Chinese economy, respond to the Belt and Road Initiative, "Building China's strength in transportation",  and other national strategies, accelerate the "going-global" of rail transit industry, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign rail transit players, promote the development and upgrade of the rail transit technologies and equipment industry in China and beyond, and better serve the overall picture of global economy.

        With an exhibition area of over 40 thousand square meters, the Expo will highlight the latest technologies, products, and fruits of Chinese and foreign rail transit industry, covering the whole industrial chain of rail transit. Major activities to be offered during the Expo include: rail transit development forum, Belt and Road rail transit matchmaking fair, and various industrial promotion and exchanges. Meanwhile, the organizers will invite leaders of all levels of the competent departments of rail transit from home and abroad, responsible persons of industrial organizations and agencies, famous experts and scholars, and heads of leading enterprises, seeking to offer a "world-leading" rail transit event.
